It’s been a fantastic few days as far as the weather is concerned. It certainly makes a nice change from the flooded roads of last week. On Friday I could have done with a boat instead of a car! Thankfully there doesn’t seem to be any sign of the harsh winter we are meant to be getting…mind you they say that every year.

I must say I really don’t like the dark evenings but the mornings have been lovely so Rocket-dog and I have been on some great walks.

In case you are wondering where the cabbage part comes into it I was going around Dunnes the other day when a cabbage decided to throw itself off a shelf and just missed my head! I have no idea why it did that…posessed cabbage. It could make an interesting film.

The only other thing I have to complain about is the price of Take That tickets. For some reason (I blame my age) I seem to be interested in going to see Take That so when I heard they were coming to the 3 Arena in Dublin I was quite excited…until I found out the price of the tickets, the cheapest ones are ā¬79.50 and the most expensive are ā¬115!! That’s mad money, do Take That not realise we are in a recession? For that kind of money I’d want Gary Barlow performing in my house š Needless to say if anyone has a couple of tickets they’d like to donate to me and Life According To Lucy we’d love you forever and you’d get two great blog posts out of it! Chancing my arm as always š
