Today I went along to the Yeats Memorial Building for Young Yeats Open Mic event. It’s a great idea and is held once a month. People just turn up sing, play music, recite a poem or just sit and enjoy the entertainment and atmosphere.
I watched Gary Hynes perform, he was very good.
The open fire was very welcoming and the people are very friendly. I’ll be updating my Sligo-Secrets March Page as soon as I have a date for the next one. The rest of my photos from today are here.
