Today a group of my friends went busking in Johnston Court Sligo today in aid of Twist Soup Kitchen. I was only going to be behind the camera as I really can’t sing but temptation got the better of me and I joined in anyway. Thankfully there are no photos of me 🙂 You can see the rest of my photos on my Facebook blog page. €145 was raised for the charity so thanks so much to all who support us.
I’m just in the process of uploading videos from it. Only one has gone up at the moment:
Fair play to you, Val, and to all who took part and helped out. Just went to the Twist FB page link, and read a very bizarre comment posted by someone back in February. Did you read it? Something about ‘using the vulnerable’ not being a good cause, and ‘this is not right’…? How can doing something…anything for those who need help or food or shelter or compassion be anything but right? Or did I misunderstand the post completely?
I looked but I didn’t see the comment you mentioned, maybe I overlooked it?
