Dunmoran Strand

It was so mild today I took Rocket-dog to Dunmoran Strand. It’s just off the N59 Sligo-Ballina road. It’s lovely and sheltered and always really peaceful.

The dog had a whale of a time running along the beach….it’s not a great shot because he was running so fast!

We walked over the bridge at the end of the strand and if we’d kept on walking we’d have ended up in Aughris and at the Beach Bar….I think 9.30am is a bit too early for a pint though 😉

There are a lot of old abandoned buildings around Dunmoran, I loved this old shop, it would be great to see a photo of it when it was still a shop.
