Yesterday in between getting tyres for Gilbert (the car) and dropping Jono to the train station I went to the Sligo Farmer’s Market. It was a beautiful sunny day and actually quite warm in the sunshine.
I got some lovely herbs and spices from Trimilawn Farm Herbs. They also sell a great range of herbal teas too. If you want to see more photos of the market click here.
On my way home I stopped off at Mill Falls in Collooney. It’s a really beautiful place…shame about the houses and apartments they put in front of them though.
Just by the river is this wonderful building. It’s the old Innisfree Crystal factory and shop and is up for sale. I think it would be great to look inside it. It’s under offer so if you are in the market for a ‘fixer upper’ this could be it.
