Holy Family Special Pre-School Car Boot Sale

On Sunday we went to a car boot sale in Banada abbey hall (before we found the theme park). I love car boot sales and this was a massive one. It was in aid of the Holy Family Pre-School for children with special needs.

It was really well run with people supervising the car park and when we first arrived the hall was so packed it took a while to get in.

There were also some fun games. I had to laugh at the ‘Chicken Drop’ one. It involved a board of numbers and a chicken. The lad running it explained that you pick a number and if the chicken ‘shites on it’ (his words not mine) you win a prize!

There was also an auction which was compared by Mid West Radio’s Tommy Marren.

There were some really random things for sale though, I had to wonder about this fella above 😉 I also had to wonder about some of the people looking around who stank to high heaven!

There was also a BBQ and a cake sale. All in all it was a great way to spend a couple of hours (apart from the stinky people!)
