The Sligo St. Patrick’s Day parade is on tomorrow at 12 noon. Let’s hope the sun makes an appearance for the day. It will take the same route as last year: Mail Coach Road, Temple Street, Adelaide Street, Wine Street, Hyde Bridge, Markievicz Road, The Slip, Connaughton Road, Lake Isle Road, Bridge Street, Thomas Street and Teeling Street.
There are also parades in the Ballinafad which starts at 1pm and in fact Ballinafad have a great weekend of entertainment which you can find more about here. They also have the castle lit up green at night for the occasion.
Manorhamilton Parade starts at 5.30pm. Grange is at 2pm. Enniscrone at 1.30pm, Ballymote begins at 2.30pm, Aclare 4.30pm and Dromore West 4pm so it’s going to be a very busy day. Carrick-on-Shannon is not just having one but two parades! One of the river and one on the road, that all kicks off at 12.45pm. More info here. There are also parades in Boyle and Bundoran.
