Well done Lucy

Lucy got her Junior Cert. results yesterday, along with all the other teenagers who sat the exams in June. She did really well, especially as she was sick through half of them. We had to go to the school to pick them up and then we went to McDonald’s for breakfast 🙂

There was another girl there with her parents. Her mother was telling her how pleased she was with her results and then started banging her first on the table and shouted ‘Now concentrate on your Leaving Cert.’ Poor girl I felt really sorry for her. Some parents put way too much pressure on their children.

Just incase we hadn’t had enough calories in the morning we had booked a table at our favourite restaurant Yeats Tavern it was also an early birthday treat for Lucy as it’s her birthday on Monday.

Jono remembered his age card this time, so he got to have a Guinness (which he loves). The nicest part was yet to come. Lucy ordered fudge cake and look what the lovely people at the Yeats Tavern did:

It was a complete surprise and such a lovely gesture, Lucy was delighted.
