Well it’s been one of those days today.
First I spilt orange juice all over the kitchen table and floor this morning.
Then I took Lucy to school and stopped in the village at the local shop. I had mums car because she hadn’t driven it for a while. Bertie was in her garage.
When I came out of the shop the car was dead!
The shopkeeper gave me a lift home so I sorted out the patients and walked back down to the shop.
The shopkeeper jumped started the car for me and I managed to get it back to mums house where it cut out on me again and is dead as a dodo again.
Luckily I got Bertie back and managed to get Andy into the hospital for his physiotherapy appointment. He was made to do push ups and they took his zimmer frame off him. He has to go back again tomorrow.
In between all that I managed to have a go at the wii fit. My wii fit age is 35, I’m well impressed with that as I’m almost 42! I do need to lose some weight though so I’m cutting down and eating healthier from today. It’s difficult with all the Christmas goodies all around me but I’m fairly determind.

Wow, zimmer frame to push-ups, thats some recovery!
Hope there wasn’t too much pain, but tell Andy that sometimes the pain costs extra 😉
Lol Katie. He wasn’t in so much pain today, so that must be good.
Thank heavens that’s today over then, huh? Don’t fret, tomorrow is going to be a good one hon, Hurrah!!! I can feel it in my bones!! Oh hang on, that’s the cold. Bugger.
Thanks Clare 🙂
Good to hear Andy is improving! I am much better now too but still have a degree of pain when sitting for long and in the mornings! Still going to physio and have my MRI on Sunday evening! Hope that will shed some light on things as I am eager to get back to running as I look like PC Plod!
Good luck with your healthy eating and fitness kick! Half an hour a day of brisk walking is all you need to start seeing results!! Loeave the camera at home!!!!
Greg
Thanks Greg, Andy is worse in the mornings and when sitting for too long.
He had physio again today, it’s certainly the way to go. Got to try and get him off morphine now.
He thinks he walks like he’s cacked himself 😉
Good luck with the MRI.
I must try and get walking again. I used to be out all the time, but with the patients I haven’t been able to do a lot.
Ah well – lets hope it has improved since then – fairy steps my friend, every day – you’ll get there!!!!!
Thanks Kate 🙂
