So today was a bank holiday here in Ireland.
We went into Sligo, we had to bring back a pressure washer that we bought 6 weeks ago because the spray nozzle broke.
We looked on the ‘net and it seems that this is a common problem for these type of pressure washers.
Last week I phoned Argos head office and was told there would be no problem that the store would give us a replacement hose/nozzle.
So in we goes today with the washer and was told (by a not very helpful lady) that those type of pressure washers are now discontinued (bear in mind we bought it 6 weeks ago) and although they do sell the hose seperately they didn’t have any in stock. She suggested us paying an extra 17 euro for the next pressure washer they had.
I don’t think this is right at all because it isn’t our fault the nozzle broke, it seems to be a manufacturing fault. Anyway we were getting nowhere so in the end we got a refund and we’ll buy a pressure washer elsewhere, with hopefully a better customer service.

i’m surprised any shop in sligo can afford to give poor customer service
but i know it’s true. i’ve had lots of simillar experiences- once asked to see the manager & left 35 minutes later when he still hadn’t appeared & no one would assist me??!! makes that road to enniskillen seem not so bad after all!!
