This chicken reminds me of when we used to have chickens and ducks…..very ‘Good Life’. We got two of each and they were tiny. We were driving home with them in a box when the ducks escaped and ended up under the pedals of the car…..Andy was trying to stop without putting his foot on the brake, it was hilarious! We managed to get them back in the box and took them home.
We had a paddling pool set up for the ducks and they were lovely when they were small but grew so big so quickly and everytime the door was open they were be in the kitchen messing everywhere….yuck. So we found them a home on a nearby farm.
The chickens were lovely. Lucy used to dance with them and put them down the slide (not good, but she was only little). We called them Paxo and Stuffing. I got some really odd looks walking around the garden shouting ‘stuffing!’ 😉 Sadly I think a fox got them in the end.

My daughter was given a duckling when she was small – they are very cute then… but, like you we had to find a home for Mowbray when he got too big to handle.
