Easter Sunday

All the eggs in one basket….., originally uploaded by magnum_lady.

Well it’s been a lovely day weather wise, but sadly I was cooking most of the day. I was trying to get a chicken but the butcher only had really massive one, it was the size of a small child, so I manhandled it into the oven….nearly dropped it, but luckily I didn’t….phew.

I just gave the kids an egg each and some money. Didn’t get Andy or anyone else anything…mean aren’t I, so in return I got nothing either…..not that I’m bitter 😉

Mum came over for dinner, the first Easter since dad isn’t with us. There was a pony drive on in the village which consists of horses and carts going up and down….it’s great if anyone needs manure.

Then we went out for a drive, we are house hunting….so hopefully we’ll find something soon.

Just watching Grease on tv now and singing and dancing along. It was one of the first films I went to see at the cinema when I was a kid. Watching it now though, how did they cast actors so old….they look nothing like High school students….good film though 🙂

  1. yep i agree! love grease… just don’t understand how why they didn’t cast people younger- maybe they needed the big names behind it??!!
good luck with your house hunting, hope it doesn’t take you too long

  2. Hi Magnumlady

I think your choice of photographs very catching and deserving of a great deal of attention. The colours in the eggs are great – do you use a programme to enhance them or are they natural?

Good luck with the house hunting, where we are it’s a buyer’s market so good luck for getting a bargain!

I loved Grease but always think of Arthur Mullard and the actress whose name I can’t remember doing a spoof and it always makes me giggle every time I see Travolta and O.N. John singing it. Enjoy the rest of the Easter hols.

    1. Thanks Steve, I did brighten these up a bit in picasa just to make them look a bit more colourful.

I don’t remember Arthur Mullard doing a spoof of Grease, must have a look on youtube.

      Take care,
      Val
