This is an email I received today:

Can you build a Kaplan Foundation if given the money?A charitable foundation in your country?My only son died recently in Iraq,he committed suicide .And i am closely 85yrs now..And my husband a Irish American died five years ago.
Because of the love i have for your country ,i will like to establish a foundation in the memory of our name Kaplan.The sum of $8million usd was deposited in the name of my son ,but now is no more i have decided to use it for foundation.What i want you to do now is to send to me your name ,address with phone number so that i can forward it to the bank for the change of ownership in your favour.

The email comes across as a scam for your personal information.
Sounds like the Nigeria connection, LOL. I should give it a pass if I were you Val.
my word – i don’t think I would play….. I love Ireland too, half my family live there ….it just doesn’t sound real does it??????

Thats life…. as they say – it could be worse you could have the little old south american lady to care for and live with you and expect to be waited on hand and foot … now that would be fun wouldn’t it??????….. hmmmm….
