Yesterday we went to Tayto Park for the day. Only in Ireland would there be a theme park dedicated to a potato! I know Jono and Lucy are quite old for this but we all had a really lovely day. I've seen people complaining about the price, (it's €12 each or two adults and two... Continue Reading →
Strokestown Park
This week I had one of the best visits I've had in a while. It's taken me days to go through the photos because I took so many and also because it's such a big place. I headed to Strokestown Park in Roscommon and got to meet John O'Driscoll the director of the park, he's... Continue Reading →
The Ulster American Folk Park

Lots of things for children to do and also knitting and sewing groups for adults as well. I really enjoyed the... Continue Reading →
Games without frontiers

It's a giant interactive outdoor display of children's artwork and is on from 3.30-5.30pm in Doorly park. Doorly Park is a lovely part of Sligo and I bet with all the artwork it will look fantastic. Check out the website for... Continue Reading →

Irish Weather Online put together a video of the devastation caused by the rain, it's here. A few things that might be of interest to Sligo people: Firstly Mrs. Quin's... Continue Reading →
