Meet the Magnumlady Blog Dream Team

If you follow the blog, you’ll know that I was looking for a sponsor. The blog has been running for over 16 years, and I share my love for Sligo and beyond on it, but it was costing me money to keep the blog going. As well, of course, as time. I was hoping that if I had a sponsor to back me, this would alleviate some of the expense, and would help me continue to do what I love doing.

There were a few meetings, but nothing had come to fruition, and then I had a chat with Brendan Tierney. You will know Brendan from The Sligo Show, The So Funny Sligo Comedy Festival, his driving school, and so many other things. Brendan is an incredible supporter of all things Sligo.

I told Brendan my dilemma and he offered to put the word out and see if there were any businesses that would come on board to support my blog.

I now have my own dream team, they have saved the blog, and I am so grateful to them. The blog will remain much the same as it has always been, but along the way I will also tell you about my wonderful sponsors, there wouldn’t be a blog without them. It made my heart sing to think that there are people and businesses that support what I do.

A huge thanks to my blog sponsors:

Brendan Tierney School of Motoring. Brendan’s ethos when teaching people to drive, is to ensure the pupil is relaxed, understands what they will be doing and enjoys the experience. Brendan is based in Sligo town, but also has a series of videos that can help with driving tips: https://brendantierneyschoolofmotoring.com/

There are a number of different dining options available in the Glasshouse Hotel Sligo including Afternoon Tea , casual dining in The Café Bar, or the Kitchen Restaurant which overlooks the River Garavogue: https://www.theglasshouse.ie/

Oxyzone Sligo. The first commercial mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Therapy in Sligo. Based in Finisklin, Oxyzone Sligo is a healing centre; a place where you can recover, relax, restore and regenerate. Anna is also an Advanced Pranic and Pranic Psychotherapy Healer. https://oxyzonesligo.ie/

It was lovely to meet all my sponsors today. I’m delighted to have them team up with me for the next 12 months. I’d love it if you’d consider supporting them.
