Things to do in Sligo – 30th December to January 1st

The last two ‘things to do’ posts have been very popular, and as some of us are off work, and family members are home for the holidays, some people might be looking for things to do, so here are some things I’ve spotted online.

Enjoy a 2.5-hour trip on the beautiful River Bonet to Lough Gill with Adventure Gently. These may be booked out, so contact adventuregentlyleitrim@gmail.com or 0857280520

Sligo Kayak Tours is running guided kayak tours at 10.30am, daily until and including 31st December. Places limited. Send a message to their page to book and find out more: https://www.facebook.com/SligoKayakTours

Seatrails is running guided walks with hot chocolate and mince pies afterwards, daily until and including 31st December. More information and booking on their Facebook page.

Sauna Sasta is in Dunmoran, and is open daily, until and including January 1st 11am-3pm. Find out more: https://saunasasta.ie/

West Coast Sauna is in Enniscrone and is open daily until January 5th. 10am – 7pm. Book via their Instagram https://www.instagram.com/westcoastsaunaireland/

New Year’s Eve Dip at Rosses Point Beach at 9am to ring out the year and raise funds for DVAS Sligo.

New Years Day Swim in Rosses Point, Sligo. In aid of North West Hospice. 2pm.

The annual Enniscrone Charity New Years Day splash and swim is on at 2.30pm at Enniscrone Pier. Registration from 1.45pm. All welcome.
