St. Stephen’s Day Events in Sligo

There are quite a few things on in Sligo for St. Stephen’s Day. Here are some that I’ve discovered:

Enniscrone Beach Family Fun Run is back on St Stephen’s Day. 2024. Fund raiser for North West Hospice 10.30am with registration from 10am.

St Stephen’s Day in Riverstown Community Park at 11am for the #GOALMile event to raise funds for GOAL’s lifesaving programmes around the world.

The annual Sligo Athletic Club – St Stephen’s Day run will take place at 11am in Hazelwood Forest.

Keash Village Fun Walk. 11.30am at The Fox’s Den. Music afterwards in Kaveney’s Cottage.

The annual South Sligo Athletic Club Stephen’s Day 5k run/walk Run in aid of Shout registration in St Brigid’s Hall, Tubbercurry from 10:45 and the event starts at 11:30.

Curry GAA Tractor Run in aid of North West Stop. Run starts at 12 noon. Full details above.

The annual Ransboro St. Stephen’s Day car treasure hunt will be in aid of the Sligo branch of the Irish Kidney Association. It starts at Coolera House from 12 noon on Thursday December 26 and can be completed up to December 31st.

St. Stephen’s Day Dip at Aughris Beach. Dive into the chilly waters on December 26th at 12 PM and help raise funds for the Templeboy, Aughris Rural Action (TARA) Group.

St. Mary’s GAA St. Stephen’s Day Match. Raising vital funds for the Sligo Cancer Support Centre. 26th December 12pm. At St. Mary’s GAA Pitch.

St Stephens Day Swim at Raghly with hot soup and changing facilities, starting at 1pm. In aid of Sligo Cancer Support Centre and St. Vincent de Paul.

The Annual Coolaney United FC Duck Race takes place in Coolaney. St. Stephen’s Day at 2pm

Rosses Point Goal Mile. Starting at 3pm at County Sligo Golf Club. Refreshments and music.

Stephen’s Day Charity Concert in Tubbrcurry 6-8pm. Full details above.

A few people have been looking for a chemist in Sligo. Lannon’s Carraroe store in Canning’s Spar is open today from 10am to 6pm
