I love seeing businesses that are a bit different, so when I saw The Book Petal at Strandhill Peoples Market, I had to go over for a chat. Hannah makes the most beautiful flowers from paper! Isn’t that just amazing?
The business came about because Hannah was looking for a paper gift for her first wedding anniversary, and she couldn’t find anything suitable, so she started experimenting with paper, and made some gorgeous flowers.
It’s such a unique idea, because the flowers can be made from any type of paper. Imagine your favourite book, your favourite music, or your wedding service made into a bouquet, Hannah even made one of the Bits N Bytes paper bag into a flower! It’s also a great idea to recycle old books and old paper, and keep them from going to landfill.
