One of my blog readers was finding it difficult to find a place for breakfast, lunch and dinner on a Sunday, so they asked me if I’d put a call out for suggestions. The blog readers came back with so many suggestions, and some businesses were on to me as well, and here are the suggestions: *I would suggest calling ahead before you visit, in case the hours may have changed, and this post was written in the summer.
Sligo town
Osta Cafe, Sligo town are open from 9am – 4pm. Peter tells me the eggs are to die for. The cover photo is Eggs Benedict from Osta
Riverside Hotel tell me they specialise in Sunday Roasts and Ala Carte Menus on Sundays. Their Café, Ripples, serves a gourmet Breakfast till 1pm then the hotel menus. Offerings and times every weekend: 7:30am-10:30am – Riverside buffet breakfast
9am-1pm – Ripples gourmet breakfast
1pm-8:45pm – Riverside Hotel – Sunday Roasts and Ala Carte menu in both premises.

Hooked in Sligo town tell me they serve breakfast from 9.30am until 12, brunch 12 to 5pm, evening menu 5pm to 9pm.

The Glasshouse Hotel in Sligo town tell me they serve food from 12pm daily. Walk-ins accepted. Bar menu & Restaurant menu available.

The Driftwood in Rosses Point Open 7 days a week from 8am – late.
The Little Cottage Cafe, Rosses Point 9.30am – 4pm
Austies 1.00 pm – 8.00pm
Fish & Bean 5pm – 9pm
North Sligo
Yeats Tavern 12.30pm – 7.30pm
Roasted & Toasted drive thru is open on Sundays 9-4 and will be adding more to their menu for summer soon

South Sligo
Tempo in Ballisodare tell me they are open Sundays 9am -5pm. Food served 9:30am – 4pm
Peacock Lane in Ballisodare tell me full they have a breakfast menu at 11am and their main menu with roast specials runs until 8pm every Sunday
Nook in Collooney are open from 10am – 3pm.
Bella and Brava, Coolaney 5pm – 9.30pm
Chillin Time in Ballymote tell me they will be open on Sunday from June 15th – not sure of hours
The Coach House Hotel 12pm to 8pm
The Millstone Cafe at Sligo Folk Park, Riverstown tell me they are open Sundays 11am – 3pm.
Cawley’s in Tubbercurry tell me they are serving breakfast until 12 noon, lunch from 12pm – 5pm, dinner from 5pm – last orders 7.45pm.

Yeats County Inn, Curry. Open 8am to 8pm
Strandhill
Shells 9am – 6pm
Sligo Airport Cafe 9am – 4pm
Honestly 9.30 am – 9pm

Strandhill People’s Market is open from 11am – 4pm – with lots of food options

Gilroy’s Bar and Áit Eile Restaurant, Enniscrone 3pm – 8pm

Surf’s Up Cafe, Enniscrone 9am – 4pm
The Diamond Coast, Enniscrone tell me they offer breakfast until 11am on Sunday and our Sunday carvery starts at 12:30pm – 4:30pm
