I’m back with another bumper edition of Sligo Food News, so, grab a cuppa, put your feet up, and enjoy the read. Pasta Fresca! has the following specials for the month of May: Pear & Pecorino Ravioli -Turmeric Riccioli (vegan) -Pasta Bake w/Spring Vegetables & Taleggio Cheese -Ricotta & Sun-Dried Tomato Sauce -Raspberry Pannacotta -Dark Choc Chip & Pistachio Cannoli. Find them on Grattan Street, Sligo. They also have their regular dishes, including Crostatsas. The one above is Apple, Amaretti & Ricotta.

There’s a new Summer menu in Tempo in Ballisodare, great to see some vegetarian options too, Tempo has always been great for that. I love the look of the cauliflower dishes – top left and bottom right.

Pink Clover in Drumcliffe news: “We had lots of interest in our baker position and thankfully it has now been filled. There will be lots of new cakes & pastries to try out this month! New opening hours 9:30-4:30pm. Now open Mondays (starting May 13th). We were delighted to receive a note from Sally and John McKenna who were so impressed with their visit that we’ve been given a spot on the “Best in Ireland 2024” guide. We are buzzing!!”
