Sligo’s newest shop opened recently, Screwfix is in Unit 12 of the Sligo Retail Park in Carraroe, next to Petstop. The best way that I can describe the shop is that it’s a very similar layout to Argos but for tradespeople, so you’ll hardware items, power tools etc, with most of the products behind the tills
They are open seven days a week:
Mon – Fri: 7am to 8pm
Sat: 7am to 6pm
Sun: 10am to 6pm
As you go in there are a few items of stock that you can look at, however the full catalogue is listed on screens. It’s probably handier to look online before you visit, and you can click and collect, or make a note of the catalogue number and bring it to the till with you.
It’s also interesting to note that delivery is free if you spend over €50 on their website. The staff in the shop are helpful and friendly, and I’d like to welcome them to Sligo and wish them all the best.
