Rocket-dog went to be groomed today. It’s the first time I’ve ever taken him to be groomed. I am friends with ‘Hotdogz’ on Facebook and during the week I saw photos of a Jack Russell that had paid a visit to them and I was amazed at the amount of hair that came out of the dog.
Susan was very good with Rocket. He was a bit wary at first but he behaved himself thankfully. I was wandering around taking photos (as I do!)
Hotdogz is a lovely salon for dogs (dare I say nicer than some hairdressers I’ve been in 😉 )
I did like their neighbours! Especially the fella above. I love donkeys anyway so to get him ‘smiling’ was a bonus.
This is Rocketdog after his pampering session. I can’t believe the amount of hair that came out of him. You often think it’s only long haired dogs that need to be groomed.
This is Lucky from, she is a rescue dog that Hotdogz adopted. A beautiful dog and Rocket liked her (which makes a big change for him as he usually doesn’t like dogs at all). He enjoyed his day out but he’s very tired now. Well done to Hotdogz for a great job.

Your Rocket dog really does look fine and dandy after grooming at Hotdogz. It brings back fond memories of my dog Susie when I was a child. Susie also shed a lot of white hair for a short haired pup. It must be quite a thrill to go abouts with him–such an attention-getter.
Thanks John, he’s not shedding half as much since he’s been groomed. He loves going out and about.
