We were driving to Banada on Sunday for a car boot sale (which I’ll blog about later) and we spotted this ‘Ancient Ireland Theme Park’! I didn’t even know there was one in Sligo. So of course we had to stop and have a look….it was like a mini Stonehenge š
I wouldn’t call it a theme park though….to me theme park means rollercoasters and rides. There is more information about it here. It’s a very pretty park though and would be nice for a picnic.
After walking around the park we walked down to the river. Under the bridge was an aviary with lots of lovely doves flying around.
If you happen to be around the Tubbercurry area it really is worth stopping for a visit. The rest of my photos are here.
