I decided to try Eala Bhan which is a new restaurant in Sligo. It’s located on the banks of the Garavogue on Rockwood Parade.
I love the interior with the lights and extracts of W.B. Yeats poems painted on the walls. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic.
I was given a complementary taste of soup to begin with. It was so nice and lovely to get something free as well.
For my lunch I had ‘three cheese tart’ which was mouth-watering. It was really filling as well. Such a nice lunch, I will be back again.
A brief update. I did go back and took Lucy with me. We had a wonderful lunch and I think Eala Bhan will give other restaurants and cafes in Sligo a run for their money. The soup is one of the cheapest in town and really delicious. Of course we had to sample the dessert menu 😉 They taste as good as they look.
