But the fire is so delightful

But the fire is so delightful, originally uploaded by magnum_lady.

Yes we still have snow. So Andys physio and hospital appointments have been changed to next week (when hopefully the weather will return to normal…..whatever that is.)

The minister for education has reversed his decision about all schools having to be closed until Thursday, so now it’s up to the individual schools. Lucys one is closed tomorrow, not sure about after that.

I finally got to see my mum yesterday, the first time this year. She has frozen mains water. I went to see if I could help, but she’s already been in touch with a plumber and maybe it’s just a matter of waiting for the pipes to thaw.

The oil man arrived today 🙂 So we now are now warm again 🙂 I hope you are all keeping warm out there and mind yourself on the ice. Look what happened to this poor fella:

  1. I never watch the news, but happened to have it on the night they aired this. I was so concerned for that poor guy and his potential head injury! The weirdest thing to me was the broadcasters didn’t even comment on it. Surely someone should have been like, ‘Whoa, that guy took quite a spill!’

  2. That was awful – I hope he was okay – looked like a certain arm injury. I hate it when I slip – probably more bothered about people laughing at me… loss of dignity etc.
Snow virtually all gone here (East Yorkshire), just a bit of packed snow on the open fields and slush on minor roads, thats it.
