I’d noticed a lot of work going on at Mullin’s Daybreak Innisfree Service Station on Pearse Road, Sligo town, and I wondered what was happening (because I’m pure nosey!) It’s Sligo town’s first drive-thru coffee shop, and it’s called Sorella’s Coffee. I stopped by today to say hello. I met JoJo, Renée, and Emer, and they were lovely and friendly.

They don’t just do great coffee, and a variety of drinks, they also have fresh cream cakes and pastries, including some gluten-free cakes, and they have a great sandwich menu. If you are being healthy, you can grab a yogurt or porridge. They also serve sandwiches from when they open – at 6am – perfect for people on night-shifts, of if you just fancy a sandwich for breakfast (I can relate!) I love the names of the sandwiches too; choose from The Innisfree Brie, The Queen Maeve, The Benbulben Brisket, to name a few.

Sorella’s is a great idea for those of you who are on their way to work, heading to the school run, or simply passing through town, when all you want is a coffee and a snack without the hassle of parking, queues, or rushing in and out of a café.

Sligo already has plenty of cafés where you can sit down and enjoy a relaxed cup of coffee, but Sorella’ss offers something different: speed, convenience, and great coffee all in one place.
Whether you’re heading to work, driving through town, or simply craving a caffeine fix without leaving the car, Sorella’s might just become your new go-to stop. Because sometimes the best coffee breaks happen without ever stepping out of the driver’s seat. Wishing them all the very best, and a big thanks for giving me a coffee and a cake, it’s very much appreciated.

Find them on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sorellas_coffee/ and on Google maps: Pearse Rd, Knocknaganny, Sligo, F91 W9KP They are open 7 days a week from 6am – 8pm, and if you don’t have a car, there’s a walk-up hatch too – with water for your four-legged friends, and the option of a pup-cup – cute!
