Sligo’s Newest Café Opens – foam. at The Model

Good news for anyone visiting The Model, Sligo — foam. has officially opened its doors there. They’ve taken over from Osta Café (who are still operating at their riverside location in town).

If you’re not familiar with it, The Model, Sligo, is one of Ireland’s top contemporary art centres. It hosts exhibitions, events, film screenings, and much more. There’s also a lovely gift shop there now too. You can learn more here: https://www.themodel.ie/

Many Bundoran regulars will already know foam. They’re a brilliant café known for specialty coffee, seasonal dishes, and great vibes. Their story is on their website: https://www.foambundoran.com/

I stopped by The Model to welcome them to Sligo, and had a chat with Eoin. He mentioned that for now they’re serving coffee, cakes, and treats, but they hope to have the kitchen up and running soon — after that, they plan to offer a menu similar to the Bundoran location.
