The Brasserie opened in Sligo town this week. It’s in The Canopy Shopping Centre (formerly Johnston Court). I got there for breakfast this morning, and I was very impressed.

I went for Chocolate and Berry pancakes, but when I saw Salt and Chilli Hashbrowns I had to order them too. I’ve never seen any place doing salt and chilli hashbrowns, and it’s an inspired idea, and they are amazing!

The pancakes were gorgeous too! They also have a lovely selection of desserts, the pavlova looked incredible.

I was talking to Jon, the manager of The Canopy, and he told me that Greg (the owner of The Brasserie), is a trained pastry chef.

The Brasserie is open for breakfast and lunch. I’ve posted the menu above, there are so many things I’d love to try from the lunch menu, including the Risotto, the Tacos, and the Seoul Bowl.

The Brasserie is open 7 days a week – see the opening times above. Find them in The Canopy, Sligo, where Cafe Souperb was. You can check them out on Facebook here and on Instagram here.
