Sunday Thoughts

It’s been a real rollercoaster of a week. Absolute highs and absolute lows.

The low – the end of Achonry Farmers Market. This came as such a shock, and I know some people will say it’s just a market, but it was such a warm and welcoming place. A place where I made friends and no matter how I felt going there I knew I’d leave with a smile on my face. I’m gutted for the stallholders and volunteers. I wrote more here.

The high – our book is ready to go to print. If you’ve missed the news of the book, you can read more on Louise’s blog. It’s been such a joy to work with her, and I hope our coffee catchups continue. Gillian our graphic designer has done an incredible job, and I can’t wait for you to see the finished product.

I was delighted to see the Nothern Lights on Thursday, it was just from the garden. I’d have loved to go off somewhere but it was cold and I didn’t want to go on my own, still it was lovely to see them.

In other news the final day to register for my Sligo Gift Guide is tomorrow. This is to give me time to get all the information back. Last year was a bit of a challenge chasing people up and I don’t have the head space to do that again, hence the reason I’m giving myself plenty of time. You can read more about the gift guide here and I know from experience that it works. I have a good few people signed up already but I have space for a few more. Find out more about the gift guide here: https://magnumlady.com/2024/09/26/call-out-for-expressions-of-interest-the-shop-sligo-gift-guide-2024/

I haven’t managed to go off exploring this week. I was going to go to Donegal today for their birthday celebrations, but I wasn’t in the humour, I’m also really tired. There were a lot of sleepless nights this week. So, I’m being kind to myself, we also have an open day in work on Tuesday, so I know that will be a busy day. Call in and find out more about Momentum if you are near Leitrim Village.

That’s all my news for now. I hope you are all keeping well and thank you for reading.
