It’s time for me to tell you about another wonderful Irish made product. Noo Chocolates is based in Ballina, Co. Mayo, on the banks of the beautiful River Moy.
The business started it 2011 as a hobby, as many businesses do. Mary and Damien Corrigan went on a chocolate making course and became hooked! It was great news for their friends and family as they started experimenting with different flavours and needed taste testers.
My friends at Mayo North featured Mary and Noo Chocolates as part of the People and Places of North Mayo Video Series:
I’ve bought Noo Chocolates on many occasions, and if I’m looking for a gift for someone, they are always on my list too. Noo Chocolates know how important it is to support small artisan Irish producers, and they use ingredients such as Achill Island Sea Salt, Lough Measc Distillery, and Bean West Coffee.
They also add fresh Irish cream and butter to bring even more luxury to their unique and exciting chocolates.
Noo Chocolates are stocked in a number of shops in Mayo, Sligo, Galway, Roscommon, Leitrim and Dublin, and you can also buy them online.
This isn’t a sponsored post, I’m happy to share news about Irish food and drink producers that I love. Photo and video credit Mayo North Tourism.
