It’s been a busy week, and there have been lots of coffee, and lots of chats. I love talking to people, everyone has something interesting to say, and I find it very theraputic. I’m also buzzing with ideas – and I need to settle myself a bit, because I’m going to get exhausted, I’m telling myself to ‘stall the digger’.
It was the final week of our podcast course, I’m going to miss it, I’ve loved it, and I’ve really enjoyed meeting the other people, and learning from Keith. I’ve actually interviewed some of my classmates for the podcast, and I even interviewed Keith, so watch this space for those.

I’ve been covering a couple of Street Feasts this weekend, I love Street Feast, it’s such a great idea to bring communities together. I have to give a special shout out to Sian (pictured below) from Achonry Farmers Market – talk about the hostess with the mostess, Sian is amazing, and what was really lovely, and so kind, was that she handed me a box of cakes to say thank you for taking the photos. It’s funny because I was just chatting about how rare it is to get a thank you, and how lovely it is when it happens, and this was just wonderful.

Speaking of food, I’m going to park the monthly Sligo Food News for the time being. A lot of work goes into it, and although it gets thousands of readers, it’s not really worth it for me to do it, although a big thank you to the two lovely readers from America who gave me a tip last time. Also, I’m busy with my new baby podcast now, so we’ll see what direction that goes in.
I’m very open minded about it all at the moment, but the podcast really does seem to be flying, and it’s very early days, so that’s great. It’s just two weeks old, and has had almost 400 downloads already. If you haven’t listened, you can check it out here.
I suppose that’s all my news for now. The pic at the top is the view from Knocknashee – the Hill of the Fairies, I also managed to climb that this week! I hope you all have a good week, and thanks for reading.
