It’s been a very busy week, and I’m feeling it today, so it’ll be a day of doing very little. It’s also quite dull today and not like the last two beautiful, sunny days. I hope you are all keeping well and that you’ve had a chance to enjoy the nice weather, I also hope you got to see the Northern Lights if they appeared where you are. I woke up to so many messages telling me to look outside, I’m glad I keep my phone on silent! It would have been nice to see them, but I do like my sleep.
I had a lovely walk in Union Wood on Friday, it’s so beautiful there with the bluebells and wild garlic out. There’s a photo at the top of the blog post.
There are a couple of things that happened this week that I can’t tell you about just yet. They are interesting, but they are processing, I do hate keeping things to myself, but these are out of my hands. You’ll know soon, hopefully.

The podcasting course is going great, I’m slightly obsessed now, and on the look out for people to interview. I finally got to meet Funké Egberongbe this week, and she got roped in! Watch this space for our chat, and read about her restaurant here. Don’t be surprised if you meet me and I start recording you! I’m just using my phone at the moment, so I’m looking for lapel microphones, or something that will help me record. I prefer meeting people in a setting they are comfortable in, I also think it’s less daunting for people not having to sit in a studio, in front of all the equipment. We’ll see what direction this goes in though.

Yesterday was the coffee morning for the Hello, How are you? Campaign, by Mental Health Ireland. Osta in The Model, Sligo, were so kind to let me host it there, and they provided drinks and scones with jam and cream. I’m very grateful to Brid and Arita for their hospitality. I’m also grateful that people showed up, and there were some lovely chats.

I was in town early to settle myself, it was so relaxing to see the swans on the river, I love being in before the shops open, it’s just nice to wander around and look at our beautiful town. I also love the message in the window of Angel World – wise words.

I suppose this week showed me that life is really all about connections and conversations. There are so many people out there in our circles, that maybe we haven’t had the chance to speak to just yet. Everyone has a story to tell, and there are many discussions to be had. I look forward to having more chats with people on my podcast.
Wishing you all a lovely week ahead, and take care of yourselves.
