Tír na nÓg Sligo reopens with new owners

There was much sadness when Tír na nÓg closed last July, due to Mary, Nora, John retiring. When I spoke to Mary, before the shop closed, she was hoping that someone would take on the shop. The good news is that it has now been reopened by Jocelyn and Cathal.

I called into the shop today and I’m delighted to see so many products by Local Organic Farmers and Producers; including fruit and vegetables from Carrowgarry Farm, Sligo and The Organic Centre, coffee by Artessa and Carrow, and freshly baked organic bread by Carrig Rua Bakery, just to mention a few.

Find them on Grattan St. Co. Sligo, F91 RX31. Opening hours are: Monday – Saturday: 9:30am – 18:30pm. Sunday and Bank Holidays: closed. Check out their website here: https://tirnanogorganics.ie/

Wishing Jocelyn and Cathal all the very best of luck, I was delighted with my purchases, and I’ll be back again soon.
