Jedward live in Castlebar!

I was delighted when my friend Heidi contacted me during the week to ask if we wanted two tickets to see Jedward in Castlebar. She didn’t have to ask me twice! I love Jedward, we have met them in Dublin and they were so nice. They had time to chat and are really friendly, lovely guys.

Jono and I went along to the show. The photos aren’t great as we were in the balcony. The place was packed! So many people of all ages. I had to laugh at the dads sitting in the audience eating curry chips and looking bemused. Jedward have so much energy and put on a fantastic show. They aren’t the best singers but what they lack in singing they make up for in the entertainment factor. I wish I could back flip like them! They even climbed up on the balcony during the show.

There was no support act which I thought was good. It was around a two-hour show. It started just after 7pm and finished at 9.30pm with a short break. If they come to Castlebar again we will  go and see them again. Edward had a bit of the problem with the zip on his trousers though….it kept coming undone 😉
