Phones, washing machines and Watchdog

This is a really old photo. It was taken in King House in Boyle. Lucy ‘lent’ this man her phone.

Anyway I’m fed up of phones at the moment. I leave my phone on silent at night but it still buzzes and lights up the room if I get a text. Usually that’s fine because I have no friends so therefore no one texts me. The other morning though the school decided to send a text at 6.30am to remind me of project deadlines! At that time in the morning I really couldn’t care less.

Then the other night Andy’s phone decided to start shouting Android in the middle of the night. Every two minutes it went off and of course the only person that heard it was me. He’s very lucky he still has a phone and that I didn’t chuck it out the window.

Watchdog is back on BBC. I used to like this show but after last weeks episode I hate it. They had a feature on about bacteria that can live in your washing machine if you don’t run a maintenance wash (a wash at 95 degrees or something). Anyway Andy was most concerned about this and went off out to look at the washing machine.

I really didn’t think much about it until I went to take the dog out before bed. There were bubbles pouring out of the washing machine drawer and door. The dog looked at me with a kind of ‘Holy God’ look on his face, turned around in disgust and went to bed.

It turned out Andy had put washing soda, vinegar and washing powder in the machine. I left him to sort it out 😉 Men eh?
