This photo has nothing to do with the post, although there is water in it and we went swimming today 😉
The swimming was great but as I was taking my costume out of the washing machine this evening I realised the back of it is see through! I’m so mortified I realised I’ve bared my arse to half of Sligo!

Glad you weren’t swimming in the Liffey! Yikes! 🙂
lol no I managed to keep myself on dry land 🙂
Be thankful it was only the back!
I am 😉
Where’s the 21 degrees we were promised today – grey and miserable here 😦
Good picture by the way – great blues.

Thanks 🙂
Are you sure the swimsuit is machine washable, Val? The reason I ask is because I put one through the washing machine once. It wasn’t see through when I put it in but it was when I took it out. Leaving them on the radiator also has the same effect….as I also found out….
Well I’ve had it for over a year and always washed it in the machine, but I reckon it was the tumble drier that did it!
Oh cripes! Lol!
show us the gory details Val, LOL
You should be glad there are no gory details Kees 😉
Never put your bathing suit in a washing machine because it’s too abrasive for the fabric and causes pilling. It’s really not nice to see your swimsuit pilling after just one wash…trust me I’ve been there. And I’ll never do it again. It takes less than 5 minutes out of your day to put it in the sink and hand wash it.
