Hey, hey we’re The Monkee’s

I was watching the Bio channel on sky last night and saw a programme about Davy Jones. It was really good, he seems like a nice down to earth chappy. I saw The Monkee’s in Hammersmith Odeon, London sometime in the 1980’s, they were great…..wonder where my greatest hits cd is???

I’ve been reading about the payments the TD’s get (TD’s are sort of like Irish mp’s), they really get paid so much money, not just for the job they do but they get expenses as well….and I wonder how many of them with go abroad for St. Patricks Day….which makes me laugh as its an Irish holiday! So why don’t they stay in Ireland.

Anyway I was also reading about the amount of money national radio DJ’s get paid….one of them gets paid 600,000 euro a year and he can’t even say the word cervical properly, he pronounces it cerviacal….I think the world has gone mad, some people are losing their homes and jobs and others are getting paid extortionate amounts…..rant over for today 😉
