Sonnies Coffee House is Leitrim’s newest café, it opened its doors on November 25th, 2024. It’s a gorgeous café, the interior is blue and grey and bright and airy, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
They have a great menu, with so much choice. I almost went for the Açaí bowl, as that’s usually my favourite, but then I saw the Biscoff pancakes, and I love Biscoff! The pancakes were gorgeous, the perfect start to my day, and the service was fast and friendly.
Sonnies serve Green Ocean Coffee, I hadn’t heard of them before, but they are based in Ireland, and each bag of coffee sold restores 1 square metre of oyster and seagrass beds. You can read more about their work here.
