I couldn’t write about Irish food without featuring Glenisk. They make the most delicious yogurt (and I’m not usually a fan of yogurt, but I love theirs!) It’s a staple in my weekly shop. The yogurt is made with organic milk, and the packaging is recyclable and from 100% renewable sources.

Glenisk is based in Co. Offaly and is owned by the Cleary family, they have been producing yogurt for over 35 years. Glenisk work with 50 farmers to source quality organic milk for their products.

It hasn’t always been plain sailing for Glenisk, there was a fire in the yogurt production plant in 2021, and they were unable to make their gorgeous yogurt for months. I tried other brands during that time, but they really aren’t the same, so I was delighted to see them back on the shelves again.

My absolute favourite flavour was the dark cherry, but this was limited edition, and I haven’t seen it for a while. I also love the blueberry one, and the salted caramel is lovely too. In fact, they are all lovely.

At Easter I filled half a chocolate egg with Glenisk and topped it with meringue, it was fab, and I convinced myself that I was being slightly healthy!
You can find Glenisk in all the main supermarkets and read more about them on their website.
This isn’t a sponsored post, I just feature Irish food products that I love.
