Focus on Irish Food – The Foods of Athenry

It can be quite difficult to find gluten-free products, especially at this time of the year with most of the mince pies and Christmas cakes containing gluten. I was looking for a gift for a family member who is coeliac, and I was delighted to be able to find so many products on The Foods of Athenry website, and they deliver nationwide (and EU wide) too!

The Foods of Athenry also make vegan and vegetarian products, gluten-free products, dairy free products, and products for people who can eat everything. They have all bases covered and it’s great to see. I was also pleased to see some of their bars in The Pod, Sligo, too.

The Foods of Athenry was born in 2004, and it’s a family-run business, and they are brilliant at what they do. It wasn’t always easy, as a fire in 2011 gutted the business, but they got back up and running, and have numerous awards to show for all their hard work. Shop online here.

You can find The Foods of Athenry on twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

This isn’t a sponsored post, I feature businesses that I love and that I’ve bought from.
