Moran’s Mega Jam – Focus on Irish Food

I’ve decided to do a new feature on the blog, and tell you about some of the amazing Irish food and drink producers. I will just tell you about the ones that I love and would recommend. The first one is Moran’s Mega Jam – I’ve been a fan of their garlic mayonnaise for a long time, and I finally met Kieron and Claire Moran at the Taste of Sligo Food Festival, and they were kind enough to give me a jar of their basil pesto – and it’s gorgeous!

Moran’s Mega Jam was established in 2010, and are based in County Cavan. They source the majority of their ingredients locally, and I love the little twists they do with their flavours of jams, including Blackcurrant and Guinness, Pineapple and Malibu, and Apple Pie, to name a few. These small-batch, handmade preserves are gluten-free and vegan-friendly. They don’t just make jam either, they also have a range of chutneys, relishes, and more.

Back in 2017 they were on Dragon’s Den, and you can watch it here, to see how they got on:

Moran’s Mega Jam are available in stores nationwide, and they also have an online shop too. Find out more on their website.

This isn’t a sponsored post, I’m happy to share news about Irish food and drink producers that I love.
