I’ve previously featured Jimmy’s Coffee in Swinford on the blog, and I was delighted to see that they’d opened a branch in a former filling station in Ballina, Mayo. It’s named The Biden Corner, as it opened the same week as President Joe Biden came to visit Ballina.
There’s a lovely outdoor seated area at the walk up window featuring the President. Thanks to my friend Paula for taking the photo above. The walk up window is inspired, because I wondered what would happen if you didn’t have a car but you wanted a coffee.
The coffee is great by the way, I love the real chocolate on top of the cappuccino. Oh, and they don’t just do great coffee, they also have a bakery on the site, so you can enjoy a pastry or cake, and they have sandwiches too. Find Jimmy’s Coffee on Facebook.
