It’s been a busy weekend in Sligo for Halloween, with lots of events taking place throughout the county. I managed to get to two Halloween Markets; Achonry Farmers Market and Strandhill People’s Market, the community at both are to be commended for the wonderful job they did of transforming the stalls and themselves!
It was lovely to see all the children dressed up and able to visit each stall and get a treat – I was wondering if I’d passed for a child 😉
I have shared my photos on Facebook, but I’m aware that not everyone is on there, so I thought I’d post them here for everyone to see. I was also delighted to be asked to pick the winner of the Children’s Fancy Dress at Achonry too, so thanks a million to Sian for asking me.
I bought lots of lovely goodies – and they were all delicious – although I’m now about 90% sugar! Well done to all involved in these lovely events, it was a pleasure to go along and support them.
