Things to do in Sligo for the Halloween Break

Now that things are returning to some kind of normality I’ve had a lot of people contacting me looking for things to do on the Halloween Break. Here are some suggestions:

The Hawk’s Well Theatre have performances of Hatch – full of Fidget Feet’s unique blend of music, comedy, theatre, contemporary dance and aerial dance. Hatch weaves craft workshops, Irish language and Irish dancing into this wonderful story for 4 – 10 years and their families. 26th and 27th of October

The New Art and Craft Fair in Sligo are hosting two Halloween themed days on the 23rd and the 30th of October. More details here

Sligo Live is back. Lots of music taking place throughout Sligo town between 22nd and 31st of October. Find all the information here:

To Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Omniplex Sligo will be hosting a Halloween weekend showing from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 October

Achonry Farmers Market have a Spooktacular Day planned on October 30th. The market is on from 10am – 1pm at the N17 between Ballinacarrow and Tubbercurry.

Halloween Sligo Dark Tales Walking Tour is on Saturday 30th October, tickets on sale now Extra Tour date added for Halloween on Sunday 31st October at 7 pm. Tickets are limited so book today. Saturday 30th Oct tour is now fully booked.

Join Rebelle Surf for a Diva Surf Session in aid of DVAS on 31st October. Non-surfers also welcome to dress up, have some fun and raise money. Full details here:

Strandhill People’s Market is also on the 31st October from 11am – 4pm. The stallholders usually dress up for Halloween and I’m sure this year will be extra spooky and special.

Dance the night away at The Coach House in Ballymote as the Smash Hits band take to the stage and play 90s dance music. October 30th

Harry Potter Spooktacular Halloween Camp is on October 27th to 29th in Coolaney Community Centre. Perfect for witches and wizards aged 5+. Places for this are filling up fast. Find out more here:

Halloween Dance Camp. 25th – 29th of October. Full week of DANCE, Games and performance

RoboThink Sligo are hosting a mid-term camp at the IT Sligo from 25th – 29th October inclusive. It’s suitable for kids aged 6-12 and they’ll be able to build robots and have fun. Use code EARLY BIRD to redeem a 10% discount. Register online:

The Creator Van and Studio. Lots of different workshops for children (and adults) from the studio in Skreen, and a mobile van that will travel all over Ireland. Experience with children with additional needs too
