The Irish Gift Guide – Food Edition Part 1

One of the things I did during lockdown was send my daughter gifts. It was a great way to surprise her and also to support Irish businesses. My recent gift guide was very popular so I thought I’d do a food version. Some of these I have sent, some I’ve received and some I spotted online and I think they look great. These all deliver nationwide and some deliver overseas too.

Kylemore Farmhouse Cheese. I was sent the most beautiful hamper containing not only the cheese (which is gorgeous) but also cakes and chutneys. You can shop here: http://kylemorefarmhousecheese.com/store.html

Sheridans Cheesemonger. I love this website, it’s easy to use and there’s fast delivery – and they don’t just sell cheese – although to be honest the cheese is the best bit for me. Find them here: https://sheridanscheesemongers.com/shop/

Food boxes and hampers from Ardkeen Quality Food Store. I recently stumbled across this website and I love it! There’s something for all budgets and I love that they tell the story of the producer. There’s also an option to make your own hamper from products on the website: https://www.ardkeen.com/

Ireland’s Artisan Pantry offer one off gift boxes or a subscription service where you receive a box each month. The difference here is that the contents are a surprise! So you have no idea what you will receive. Shop here https://irelandsartisanpantry.com/

McCambridge’s Galway have a variety of of hampers to suit different budgets. They deliver to Ireland and Northern Ireland. https://mccambridges.com/hampers/

Hazel Mountain Chocolate. Made in The Burren and absolutely gorgeous. They even sell vegan chocolate spreads, chocolate sheep, fudge and more. Delivery available internationally. https://www.hazelmountainchocolate.com/collections/shop

Irish Gourmet have been hand packing Hampers filled with award winning Irish food products since 2004. They have a great selection on their website and deliver within Europe: https://irishgourmet.ie/hampers.html

Carrolls Irish Gifts have some great options and offer worldwide delivery. I particularly like the Taste of Home Hamper containing Tayto, Barry’s Tea and more. There’s also a Guinness Hamper and so much more. Shop here: https://www.carrollsirishgifts.com/irish-food-drink/

Pudding Row. Build a box of goodies, choose from fresh cakes, homemade bakes and pantry items. Or check out their Comfort Kit https://puddingrow.ie/order/?page_id=2963

Enjoy Clare’s Finest Cheese Selection from St. Tola’s Cheese: https://st-tola-irish-goat-cheese.myshopify.com/collections/st-tola-cheese-for-sale-online/products/clare-cheese-selection

Kate’s Kitchen have a variety of hampers available including a cheese and wine one and a no gluten one. I also like the dinner care packages too: https://kateskitchen.ie/collections/gift-hamper

Part two of the Irish Food Gift Guide will be following soon, with lots of suggestions from people on Twitter. All photos copyright of the websites.
