Andy has been feeling rough today. He’s got a bad chest now…..maybe it will take his mind off his back. So he spent the day in bed.
I had to go into town to leave Lucys school trousers into The Quayside to be taken up as they are a mile too long for her. I took mum and the kids in as well.
Mum was delighted to get out as it’s the first time she’s been in Sligo since way before Christmas. She kept saying ‘Oh it’s great to be out’, followed by ‘It’s bloody freezing’ which it was. We had fog all day which just didn’t lift.
Lucy went off to meet her friends for shopping and the cinema. Jono and I went around Tesco. There was a girl playing pop songs on her mobile phone going around the shop and singing really loudly. Jono walked passed her and said ‘It’s a no from me!’ lol.
Shopping wasn’t too bad apart from the crowded aisles and a low flying pigeon!
We came home and then I had to go back in at 6.30pm to collect Lucy. It was very hard to see though with the fog. Most of the roads don’t have lights or road markings so it makes things very difficult. I’m glad to be home.
Fog in the movies always looks mysterious and romantic.
Fog when you live in the country and have to drive on unmarked roads is just a nuisance.

Val you’re rotten, a sore chest doesn’t take your mid off a bad back, what you need to do is stamp on his foot reeeeeeally hard…. THAT should redirect a few pain sensors. :-S Poor devil.

Not been able to hobble out with the camera here for the last few days and I’m desperate to get some lovely early morning pix along the Trans Pennine Trail while the fog is about. might as well carry on with the snow pix though as we still have it in garden…. soooo tired of it!
